Dell Inspiron 14 3420 Downgrade Problem

I have a Dell Inspiron 3420 pre-installed Windows 8 Professional. So i'm pretty annoyed with the new interface and it does seem a little complicated then the Windows 7 OS. So recently, i clean formatted my entire HDD and then i switched my boot mode to Legacy and i successfully booted into Windows 7 Installation page and I had my laptop running Windows 7. Everything works fine but only one thing, I cant seem to lower my brightness on the laptop. The Brightness keys don't work at all even after hitting the "FN" key. I can only control the brightness before it reaches the "Starting Windows" at boot. After that, the button seem not to work. The OS doesn't detect my system as a laptop but instead as a desktop running computer. So is there any way to make the keys work? I need the answer A.S.A.P

Thanks Guys.
Cheers
