hello everyone I am from TAIWAN(Traditional Chinese)
i don't know why everytime i talk in Taiwan website Advocacy buy windows that just $100 only but, somepeople will attack me on online because they say CHINA have a lot the Piracy keys can use for free it is not different between Genuine windows

i buy my computer total for $525 only but i still buy windows for $100 because i need it to doing my all the thing if i don't have windows then my computer will just a Scrap!!i don't want to be Piracy user!
somepeople are very rich can buy new video card for $1000 very 6 months they have GTX TITAN 4SLI + I7-3960X but they say $100 is too expensive use Piracy is better because it can only use 1 computer and Piracy can use very much computers as i want

they say i am very stupid that Budget can buy higher level computer why not?
do u guys think that is very stupid?

i have question? is America people almost use Piracy or Genuine windows?
i think America peoples average Quality is much better then TAIWAN OR CHINA because i am live here 2 years i can feel!

You should always try to buy software when you can. It supports the developers and allows them to keep making the software. I know that in some parts of the world, genuine software can be harder to acquire than pirated software. Aside from just supporting the developer you're also making sure you don't get into trouble and that you can rest easy.

Anyone who would call you stupid for purchasing software is a hypocrite. I'm sure that they like to get others work for free but what would they do if someone else took whatever they make and gave them nothing? Bottom line: if you can't afford the software, don't spend so much on the hardware.

On your last question, americans do pirate software but not to the extent of many other...

On your last question, americans do pirate software but not to the extent of many other countries. For example, America's piracy rate is lower than russia, china, and greece.

I have no idea why you would get banned for advocating against software piracy. I suspect that piracy would be high in countries that are not under the political influence of america like china or russia. This is because there is no repercussion unless they are going after a major pirate. Until each country start enforcing international piracy laws, this issue will only escalate.
