Hello, I need some quick advice on if I should buy this monitor or not. It's a NEC EA241WM-BK 24in TN Panel, displays at 1920x1200 with a response of 5ms. I do some light video editing and moderate gaming. Noting serious so not having 120hz is not a big deal. I can get this monitor new for $100 or should I wait and get an ASUS VS24AH-P monitor for $220? Viewing angles doesn't matter as I am directly in front of the monitor. Thanks a lot!

Look IPS has much better colors than TN, if that is important to you go for it, if not then go with an LED backlit TN, you can find them for very cheap

$139 for IPS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And currently you will be hard pressed to find a much cheaper TN panel, so I highly recommend that as I own the LG IPS 1080P 27" monitor

I think I might go for that 27in LG IPS, the LG 27EA33V right? I use to have a QNIX 1440p monitor and it broke within 3 days so I wont risk it again. I want a 27in again but do you think 1080p on it looks maybe blown or large pixels on the lg?

I use it over 8 hours a day and don't have problems with it, if you want a decent 1440P, consider these: http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27_WQH...

The Yamakasi is the new model with 1.07 Billion colors

The Auria is a decent option and has more than just DVI(all the Yamakasi has)
