I have a CH3SNAS network storage with 2 disks (500MB each) configured as JBOD. The configuration may be corrupted and the system is not able to identify my volume.
When I restart the system the setup wizard requests a RAID type.

How can my JBOD config be recovered without losing my data?

I've recovered data from many NAS devices but not this particular model. However most consumer level NAS devices use Linux Software RAID. So they operate basically the same.

What you can try is to extract the drives and attach them to a desktop computer. Then boot up the computer using a Linux Live Boot CD. Linux should automatically detect the JBOD. If so you should see it displayed by running "fdisk -l"
