hi all i am new to this forum so I hope i am posting in the right section. I am considering buying the XSPC kit
http://shop.xs-pc.com/xsp/XSPC-RayStorm-Twin-D5-AX240-WaterCooling-Kit-_36731.html

1) I would like to know your opinions on this kit
2) I know the second pump is a bit of overkill but i would like to add a second AX240 radiator and a gpu block to cool my GTX 770
3) I am wondering whether anyone has tried to fit two 240mm radiators in a Fractal define r4 case

I thought my current rig would appear under my post but here it is:
Mobo: z87 MPower Max
CPU: i7 4770k @ 4.4 ghz
RAM: Corsair vengeance LP 2x8gb @ 1800mhz
VGA Card: msi gtx 770 lightning
Cooling: Be Quiet Dark rock Pro 2
Case: Fractal Refine R4

thanks in advance looking forward to replies!

EDIT: I would like to OC my 4770k even further but im wondering whether an AX240 will improve my cooling over the Dark rock Pro 2?

1. Its pretty good.
2. Yes those dual pumps are quite overkill even with your additions, a single D5 would be fine for a loop like that.
3. I haven't, though I know if you want too (and not externally mount) you would need to pull the drive cages out to do it.

Are you sure there is a water-block that can fit on your Lightning card? Its a custom design in pretty much every way, there might not be any FullCover block options for it.

3) I was just looking at a video made by fractal themselves saying you can move the hard drive cage a couple of centimeters towards the psu so that would probably solve it since the rad+fan together are about 7cm deep

and for the gpu full cover waterblock, there seem to be some 680 waterblocks that will fit on the 770 lightning. such as this one
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc680-gtx-acetal-nickel-csq-1.html
but i'm not sure if it's any good and whether it is compatible with the rest of the loop?

K-FC680 GTX+ is a high performance full-cover water block for nVidia reference design GeForce GTX 680- as well as some GTX 770 series graphics cards.

Thats what I'm concerned about, the Lightning cards to my knowledge are completely custom design PCB's, so a reference design water-block wont fit it even if it says 680/770 on the box. I would look into this.

As for compatible with the rest of the loop, your fine. Water-cooling equipment isnt like PC's where everything slots together, your connecting everything by tubes. As long as all the components use G1/4" threads (would be difficult to find one that didnt) and you have the same size fittings throughout your good.

EK has a full cover block for the 680 lightning, which uses the same PCB as the 770 lightning, so it will work

We are talking reference design here a Titan block will fit a 780, 680, 580, 480 or vice versa. These video cards have not changed for years and if you want proof I have a 480 block that I could attach to a 580 card or a 780 card. I do not own any 680 cards but I do know that the design of the card did not chang.
