Is this trade-off worth it?

I DONT HAVE THIS BUILD YET: Instead of getting an asus R9 280x or a gigabyte version of that card, i decided not to OC the i5 4670k which i was planning on doing right away, i got rid of the 62$ cpu cooler and used the 60 to raise my GPU budget to 360 i can get the Sapphire TOXIC R9 280x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202044 i will OC later when i have enough to get a cooler. Was that a smart move?

Actually not really, on paper and performance the sapphire has the edge, BUT its up to you. Is that 60 Dollar premium worth it? The Toxic will perform better, but I would not spend 60 Bucks on it. As I am cheap. The Vapor-X might be good to look at, or simply the standard sapphire model as Sapphire is just about unbeatable in AMD.

guys i already made up my mind...this thread is 4 days old so i know now :) im getting the toxic because i still can OC more and its fine now...focusing more on PSU's atm. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1842228/psu-support-power-sates.html
