Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying that i have followed so many articles over the past few weeks on this website and it helped me a lot!!!
I had just finished building my system(in which i would like to play some high end games like: cry sis 3,batman:arkam asylum/city/origins,left for dead, far cry 3 etc... ) in medium to high settings.

Here are my computer specifications:
CPU:Intel i5 4670K
RAM: 2x4 DDR3 (Corsair Vengeance)
Motherboard: Asus Maximus V1 Hero
SDD: Samsung 840 series - 120 GB
HDD: Western Digital blue - 1TB
PSU: iball marathon 500w
Operation system: Windows 7 (64 bit)
GPU: N/A

Display: Dell S2240L 21.5 inch monitor
(Monitor is connected via HDMI interface)

My maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080.
How would you rate this system configuration for playing the above mentioned games??

Which brings me to my second question ,the GPU.As you may have noticed i haven't yet put in a graphics card ,before doing so i would like your valuable advice on which card would suit best for me.My budget is not more that $200.

I have narrowed it down to a few of them :
Radeon HD 7950,HD 7770
nVedia Geforce GTX 550 ti boost,GTX 650 ti

Any advice is appreciated. :)

i think the 270x is a slightly upgraded 7870, the 7950 is a stronger card than either of them, falling somewhere in between a 270x and 280x.

Ok, sorry but I rate your system as horribly set-up for gaming. You've sunk your money into an overpriced Intel CPU (probably because you don't know any better) and left yourself strapped for your video card. This system will NOT run Batman Arkham ANYTHING at high settings. Let's start with that CPU's price: $250?! And a $210 motherboard? Are you kidding me? What a complete waste. Let me fix these problems that you have. You've been listeining to some Intel salesman who has been telling you that a super-powerful CPU is what you need when it's actually the video card that is most important. Alright, I'm going to fix this right now.
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-core - $120 (+$130 added to the vidcard)

Motherboard: ASRock 970 Pro3 - $65 (+140)

Here's the proof of what I say:

So having fixed your "I'm fixated on shiny and useless things that say Intel and ASUS" fetish, now your video card budget is $470. I would say that a couple of Radeon HD 7950s would be in order and you'll still have about $50 left over. THAT will play ANYTHING at max settings:

Oh woops, sorry about that, and yeah can't argue with the 7950 :)
