Ram randomly freezes??

Hello. I noticed when i webrowse or if im just using a program..it freezes..for about 30-60 seconds..i have 8gb corsair vengeance 2x4 ram. so i thought maybe of the sticks were bad. so i took one out. I thought it fixed it but the problem happens less often. so i stuck my other 4gb back in and it happens much more often. does any one know the reason for this?

PC Specs:

Graphics Card - Sapphire Radeon 7850 2gb OC Edition

Processor - Amd FX-8320 Processor @ 4.2ghz

Mother Board - Asrock 970 Extreme3

Power Supply - Corsair CX600 600 Watt

RAM - 8gb Corsair Vengeance 1600

Hard Drive - 2tb Western Digital

Solid State Drive - 120gb Samsung 840 Series

Are they running at the proper timings and voltage? What does it show in CPU-Z in the Memory tab and what is the model of the sticks (can find that in the SPD tab under part number)

No model #, try raising DRAM boltage + 0.05

Ive never touched rams voltage before, so im not familiar with all this but, iread that my ram is 1.5 voltage, so i set it to 1.5. my pc is running but the freezing still occurs.

.........and how is it? If that doesn't stabilize, may need to add a touch of voltage to the MC (memory controller), think it's CPU/NB on your mobo

every thing seems stable, havnt froze yet...last time i froze like 10 mins after boot...but its been about an hour now...i hope this helps and thank you for all your help youve done.

darn it, it happend this moring the freezing...but it normaly happens every couple hours. since i raised the volatage it didnt freeze at all yesterday. so im assuming its less likely to happen often. and also. i didnt say this before but when it freezes i "ctrl+alt+delete" and it just says "Preparing security options..." it says that untill the freeze stops.. which is like 30s-60s

Next step is CPU/NB voltage up 1.2

alright i raised the NB voltage from 1.145v to 1.160v and i raised the CPU voltage from 1.3750v to 1.3875v. and also, i forgot to tell you, I left my cpu voltage at stock voltage while it was over clocked to 4.2. every thing seems stable atm..hopefully it fixes my problem.

well, it just froze right now...sigh.i hope this isn't a serious hard ware problem..
