Idle Socket and core temps

my processor (amd-fx6100) has an idle socket temp of around 37 degrees Celsius, according to clickbiosII that came with my MOBO

but looking at other programs it shows idle temps of around 15-23 degrees.

which is the more accurate number.

I think the other programs like cpu-z are more accurate

Use CPU-Z, Speed Fan, and Coretemp to check. Those are the only ones I would recommend to use. At idle it should be 35-45 at most. You dont want to hit 70 under load.

I ran prime95 on the torture test on the blend setting at 100% cpu load my socket temp maxed out at 56 degrees and stayed steady there for the rest of the test fluctuating a degree up or down here and there. Thanks!

Yeah then that should be no issue here. 56 under prime is pretty good.
