Directx9 graphics card but directx 11 requiered for a game

Hi,
I found out that a game I am going to preorder(Call of Duty : Ghosts) , sets as minimum requierements Directx 11
What does that mean? That my graphics card needs to be direct x 11?
Because the one I got right now(which is quite old) is direct x 9.

Yes it means that your video card needs to be direct x 11 compliant. Which one do you have now? Also keep in mind that I don't believe the "official" specs have come out yet so it may change.

Hey, thanks for replying! It turns out that my graphics card is Directx 11 compliant so I guess I wont have any problem :)
