Now, before you say go with the GDDR5 version, I only occasionally play the counter-strike games so I don't need much graphic power. The DDR3 is $50 AR right now and the GDDR5 is at $70 AR.

So just wondering what the 7750 DDR3 version compares to?

I just need a cheap card that will be able to give video and audio when connected via HDMI to my HDTV and be able to play counter-strike.

(would a better card give better performance when connected to an HDTV? Like prevent tearing or anything like that?)

Solution
Any modern day card should be able to handle full HD video no problem, a lot of times it's the CPU that is the more limiting factor.

For CS, you won't notice a difference between the DDR3 and DDR5 version. For more demanding games, you might notice some laggieness.
