Hello guys,
I bought a 7990 recently and just can't get the crossfire function to work.
By crossfire I mean the two cores in 7990 not two 7990. I couldn't find anything online about it.
so here is my specs:
I7 3770k with water cooling
p8z77-v LX ASUS motherboard
DDR3 24gbs memory
HD 7990
PSU 1000watts Rosewill
Here is the problem:
Whenever I run game with crossfire enabled, my gpu will crash in couple minutes.
Either screen freezes or gpu crash completely. However, two cores work perfectly fine separately when I disabled Crossfire.
Heat doesn't look like the problem, it's only 50-60.
Here is what I already did:
1. I tried various amd drivers(13.4, 13.8beta, 13.10beta, 13.9), and had cleaned them with AMD cleaner utility before every install.
2. I upgraded my BIOS to latest version
3. I replaced my old crappy cyber power psu with quality Rosewill PSU
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Regards,
Zeal
