I currently have an FX-8350 from AMD on an ASUS Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 motherboard. I want to overclock it to about 4.8 GHz. Changing the CPU mutliplier was easy, but i think I also have to increase the voltage? It's highly confusing as the UEFI BIOS gives me the option to be in offset or manual mode, and there are three settings for me to change: CPU voltage, CPU/NB voltage, and CPU VDDA voltage. Do any experienced overclockers know which value I should change, or if i should change multiple values? How much do I have to increase the voltage by? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

it's on a different type of motherboard. Does anybody know what CPU, CPU/NB, and VDDA voltage are? which one should I increase? The guide that you linked to is really confusing and long, or maybe it's just because i'm a total OCing newb...

The guide does describe the voltages you listed, did you have trouble understanding them?
Also the info should be transferable even though you're using a different board.

It's helpful, but at some parts he is very vague. He doesnt say you need to increase voltages for NB and CPU-NB until #6, but he says to increase their frequencies in #4.
