start with checking that your bios on your motherboard is updated. then if your running intel motherboard make sure xmp profile is turned on and the ram speed is set right and in the right ram slots. make sure the hard drive are plugged into the right sata ports and set to achi mode. if your trying to install xp on a ssd it will crash unless you run a ssd tool to re aline the drive. on amd mb you have to to an f6 advance install and install the newest amd chipset drivers.
