Upon the developers release of Mavericks, I migrated my data from Snow Leopard to the new HDD. I've been testing Mavericks out and enjoying it, besides a few applications not working everything is okay until I realize that my old HDD running Snow Leopard became corrupted (blame WD for that.) Now my question is, having bought a new HDD and installing Snow Leopard is there a way to make an exact copy of my current Mavericks HDD with all my applications, data, settings, but on a different OS (Apps that I need to use for WORK that haven't been optimized for Mavericks.) I've attempted time machine but that just replaces the OS. Migrate assistant won't find the other computer on the network to transfer data so I'm not sure what else I could try.. any Ideas? The OS really doesn't have to be Snow Leopard, I don't mind I just want an OS that has been optimize to run the applications I need to use.
