hi guys,

im planning to build a gaming rig with these parts:

LGA1150 MSI B85M-P33
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40-3.80GHz (4Core) Haswell Processor lga1150
Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler
Gskill Ripjaws x 8gb 4gbx2 Ddr3 1600 CL9
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler
Sandisk SDSSDP 128gb SSD
Seagate 500GB ST500DM002 Internal HDD
Corsair CX750 80+ Bronze 750 Watt ATX, EPS12V, PS/2
NZXT Source 210 Classic Midtower

-i'm also planning of having this oc'd for about 4.2 ghz at least, can this build capable of that?
-are the parts compatible with each other?(noctua might block the ram slots.
-im open to suggestion for other alternatives (more cheaper or better parts)
..thanks

Solution
A B85 board is incapable of OCing, you would need a Z87 board.
I would try to grab Low Profile RAM if using large air coolers. (LP Vengeance, Kingston HyperX)

Yes, the MSI board will suit your needs.

-however if i adjust the cpu fan upward to accommodate a high profile ram it might compromise the size of the cpu case?
-with the mobo changed i might be using: Gskill Ripjaws X 8GB 4gbx2 DDR3 1866 CL8 as ram will this fit/compatible with the build?

Why do you have a 750 Watt PSU in there? Are you planning on upgrading to 2 x GTX 760 in SLI in the future? Personally I would use the stock CPU and GPU coolers and save your money towards a second GTX 760. I can guarantee that within two years most GTX 760 owners will find themselves wanting more power. And why the HDD?

-I checked an psu calculator site and accdg to it all the components above will approximately consume 750 watts(minimum).
-added an hdd for storage purposes.(cheaper than a large ssd)
-my budget is 1000$
