I am thinking of buying this motherboard, http://www.amazon.co.uk/P8H77-V-Motherboard-Socket-Support-Express/dp/B007KZQEQC/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1381607371&sr=1-3&keywords=motherboard+socket+1155, and I am wondering if it will be any good. I would like to SLI GTX 660s with it and am wondering if it having 1 PCI-e 3 and 1 PCI-e 2 will make much difference. Thanks.

I don't think there are any H77 boards that can support SLI because that chipset lacks a PCI-E lane splitter to allow for x8 x8 mode. You'll have to spend a little more money and look at a Z77 board, make sure it says its supports SLI. PCI-E 3.0 will make no difference with GTX 660s.

MSI has been having a lot of quality control issues with their motherboards, so it wouldn't be my first choice. That board will work if you do want to roll the dice though. I have had a bad experience with MSI's RMA department, so pray that it isn't DOA or that it doesn't develop problems. Asus, Gigabyte, and ASRock might be better choices, though the Asus and Gigabyte boards that do SLI are likely to be more expensive.

Both my motherboard and graphics card are MSI and I've had no problems, but other than that would it be suitable for SLI? And are 660s good for SLI? As I can't afford any 7XXs and I already have 1 660.
