Running Windows 7

So I bought a netgear A6200 wireless adapter the other night and after the setup when it prompts you to plug the usb adapter in it couldn't detect it. Anyways after an hr or two trying to fix it by myself and w netgear tech support I decided to return it. So last night I brought home a Belkin AC Dual-Band Wi-Fi USB adapter and its having the same problem.

I tried using all diff ports none work. I know they work because im using one of the ports for my wireless mouse/keyboard. I tried uninstalling reinstalling restarting etc. Did a system scan that found some errors n fixed them but still getting same errors.

Tried going into device manager and opening up 802.11n NIC updating the driver that way but it ends up saying 'Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. Belkin USB Wireless Adapter. A device attached to the system is not functioning.'
