Hello, I have a Joshua-H61-uATX Motherboard.
I'm thinking of Upgrading my i3 2120 to a i5 3470 (Sandy-Bridge to Ivy-Bridge)
I know my motherboard supports it, but will I need a BIOS Update
I can not find a BIOS update ANYWHERE.
Thanks.

Also, Bios Version is: AMI 7.11 28/04/2012

Solution
So that's a HP motherboard, you'd find the BIOS update for it in the support section of your computer's model but I can't find it either. Perhaps it's best to contact HP via email for this.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am in the exact same boat. Same driver version. My new GPU won't boot without an update to the BIOS and as far as I can tell no such update exists.

Wish I could find one as well. My HP Slimline S5-1214 came with Windows 7, 6GB ram, and a crappy Pentium G850 dual proc and 220W power supply.

Its now sporting 8GB designer DIMMS, 802.11ac adapter, USB 3.0, and a 360W power supply. I have plans to install a GeForce 750Ti, a 1TB SSD, and this Intel i7-3770K sitting on my bench. Unfortunately, even when I update to the latest BIOS driver hp has on their website (AMI 7.16A, 3/23/2012) I can't get it to post with the Ivy Bridge chip. :(

Anyone know where I can get some customer service from HP, or find a generic BIOS for this Foxconn board (H-Joshua-H61-uATX) made for HP?

In a worst case scenario I can sell the 3770K and find a 2770K... but it'll run hotter and be 10% slower... and have slower onboard video (HD 3000 vs HD 4000) until I pony up for the GeForce 750. I'd really like to use the Ivy Bridge to save some power for the video card too... even this upgraded 360W power supply is questionable with any decent graphics card these days. :-/
