Mouse keeps disconnecting and unregistering; why is that?

I know this may have been asked a lot, I've looked and looked and looked but still cannot possibly find any solution for my problem. I've searched on tech-forums, found nothing. I was wondering if anyone knew why this to be? I KNOW its not because the mouse is giving out because I JUST bought it.

Here is what is going on:
I had a Logitech USB Optic Mouse M-UV96. I've had this mouse since I bought this computer - which was about 5 years ago - and it just recently gave out. It kept disconnecting itself and double clicking even when it was only clicked once. I was told to replace it, which I did.

I bought this ByTech 3D Optical Mouse. When I first plugged it in, it was working fine. It registered and everything. But then I tried to use the scroll wheel and the whole thing disconnected. I unplugged it and replugged it back and then it said "unknown device". I was confused because it was JUST registered and working. I then restarted my entire computer and plugged the mouse up. It worked again.

I mistakenly "tapped" the wheel of the mouse (not pressed nor did i scroll, but merely tapped it slightly) and the whole thing disconnected again! (I'm thinking I must have pushed the side button of the mouse wheel but none-the-less, it cut off on me still).

I read somewhere on the forums that if I were to uninstall the driver of the mouse and then restart my computer, it would work. It did! So everytime I made a mistake and touched the mouse wheel, i would have to go through the motions of restarting my whole computer after uninstalling the driver, hooking my hold mouse up for the driver to be replaced, the placing the new mouse into the USB slot for it to re-register the mouse driver.

My problem is, this does not work AT ALL anymore. I've tried to do it 10 times already and each time it says "failed to install driver" or something along the lines of that. I REALLY can't get another mouse right now and I CANT use my old mouse because its rather annoying how it disconnects randomly and double clicks randomly.

My question is:

Why is this happening? Is this a ByTech Driver issue being incompatible with my Computer?

By the way, i'm running on Windows 7 64-bit OS. It is up-to-date.

Every USB Universal Host Controller in your OS ~

** Must unplug all USB device before Uninstall the Driver ~
After uninstall , then do a restart of OS then after startup done , start to plug-in your USB device again ~
