I'm getting a new GPU the ASUS GT640 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E 2.0 Low profile, (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121771) And i'm not sure if its compatible with the AMD Anthlon II x4 640 Cpu.

Solution
Yes, it is compatible. Any cpu is compatible with any gpu. As long as the motherboard has a PCI-E slot (preferably 2.0 or 3.0, but 1.0 is fine) and your power supply can output enough power, you're fine. Just make sure you completely uninstall the old drivers (espeically if you had an amd graphics card before) and then download the new drivers for the new gpu.
