frys electronics has the 4770 and 4771 cpus on sale for 244$. i recently bought the 4670k at the same price.

should i keep my 15 4670k or pick up the 4770 and return the i5

Solution
the 4770 will perform the same for most games, but bf4 does take advantage of its hyperthreading. you can still overclock the 4770 but only to its max turbo boost clock (3.9ghz). If your not planning on doing any serious overclocking with the 4670k, like going above 4ghz, then get the 4770, the hyper-threading may prove more useful in upcoming titles and bf4 64 player maps.

Its a tough call...but I'd just stick with my 4670K. Especially since it requires uninstalling, cleaning thermal paste...trip to the store...etc.
