ASUS G73JH - WIndows 7 bootable USB (WinToFlash) not working

The WIndows 7 bootable USB works on my desktop, but does not want to read on my laptop. It would read the flash drive... but a white "_" would keep blinking and never start the windows 7 setup. I read on google that I have to use the windows 7 usb tool, but that always gets stuck after the formatting process. So now I'm doing it through DOS...

Anybody know what the problem could be? Or anybody have the same laptop?

I had this same laptop for 3 years...Gave me so much trouble, and I'm so glad to be rid of it. It was a nice powerful laptop, but ASUS created so many problems with it in terms of hardware compatibility and driver stability. I would simply give up and move on if I were you.

Yea that's why decided to start clean again on it. But my USB bootable windows 7 doesn't want to work. My last option is a DVD with my windows7... but that goes so slow! :p

Yeah, I have never tried to do a USB Windows 7, but I would suggest popping the DVD in and then going to sleep so it can work overnight lol

It worked with making a bootable USB with using DOS. Anyway now it's updating like crazy for those stupid windows 7 updates :s I'm about to flash the bios but none of their utilities work lol.

I guess I'll have to figure it out by googling it :D
