Hi everyone!
I've been using a laptop for my gaming purposes for a while now but it is about time for an upgrade. I really want to build my own desktop but as it's my first time doing this I have no idea what parts would be best for me. So, here are my details:

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the month. (I might not buy all the parts at once as some of them are going to be gifts.)

Budget Range: $1000 Before Rebates; Before Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (Won't be using it for much else)

I have a TV that I will use as my monitor.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes (Windows 7 pref.)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Whatever is the cheapest. (Too far from an actual microcenter though.)

Location: Tampa, Fl, USA

Parts Preferences: Whatever I can get really (Although I've heard better things about intel and nvidia)

Overclocking: Maybe (Don't want to do it right away as like I said I am new to pc building)

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe (Might get a second card once my performance starts decreasing)

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 (I think, tv box just says 1080)

Additional Comments: I will also need a keyboard and mouse. Will be using my headphones so I don't need speakers.
Games I will be playing include Planetside 2, Battlefield 4, Skyrim with mods, and FFXIV. Will I be able to run these games at max or high with a decent framerate?
(Also if I could get a case with a window and lights that would be nice but if it takes too much money then don't worry about it.)

In regards to headphones and and mouse, I didn't add those in, you can choose one, those are personal tastes; you can get a 7950 to lower the cost for the keyboard and mouse too.

-I would highly suggest waiting till black Friday, save up a bit more cash, and buy hardware during black Friday; should get very good deals.

This is a good bang for the buck AMD build for 1000 dollars. An Intel build would go over 1000 to easily.

8350 and 7970 will perform run games very well, they are bot great products. 7970 has 3 free games too.

Everything else are quality products.

Any questions, just ask.

How big are Black Friday discounts usually. Like, how much do you expect this build to go down by.

Also are there any other opinions?

Ok. One more question. I see you included a cpu fan but not thermal paste and it looks like neither the fan nor the cpu come with paste. Is that because I don't need paste or because paste is so cheap it doesn't really factor in?

Well, thanks for all your help. I will wait until black friday and see what kind of deals I can get. If there are no good deals then I will probably go with this setup. I am going to leave this topic open or a little bit longer to see if I can get another opinion but if no one responds I will mark your post as the solution.
Thanks again!
