Hey guys I want to build my own computer for video editing, mostly using Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D. So far this is my build. Can i please get any tips or opinions on any of the components? I am open to any suggestions. Keep in mind I am a total noob at computer building (components wise) i can build anything, as long as I know what components to buy. I am on a budget!!! No more than $1200 will be spent on this build (excluding shipping, etc.)

Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl w/ USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Silent PC Computer Case

Extra Case Fans: Corsair Air Series SP120 (CO-9050012-WW) 120mm PWM Quiet Edition High Static Pressure Fan (Twin Pack)

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor

CPU cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

GPU: EVGA 02G-P4-3657-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop

Hard Drive: SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Data hard Drive: Seagate Desktop HDD.15 ST4000DM000 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

I also can't decide whether i should get windows 7 or 8 because 7 is better for media, but i dont want to be equipping my expensive computer with an outdated OS.

Solution
I like the Asus mobo also, but with the 8350, stick to 1866 DRAM, many (actually most) can't run 2133 without extra voltage which = extra heat - and that's if it can run it...I'd look at the GSkill Snipers in 1866/9 1.5

How much would it cost to upgrae those? also , intel or amd for media production?

If you want the h100i then you should consider Fractal mini case. It can install the h100i on the top or front. But the h100i fans are noisy. Personally I'd rather have a Noctua nhd-14. Costs less and performs the same as h100i. Only downside is weight but I wouldn't be worried about it.

Alright, I updated the motherboard to the Asus, but im looking for liquid cooling for the CPU. not a super large unit, but something similar to the corsairs i mentioned. Any suggestions for a quiet cpu liquid cooler? also since i was told my liquid cooler i selected was loud, should i change my extra case fans too?
