Tried reformatting the computer? Maybe there is a fault in the system files which makes the computer hang. It might work

I have backup, I can easily restore.
I have had problem before latest OS is installed (same OS: Win 7 x64 SP1).
First time it happened (on OS installation before this now), Iwas on youtube, I played music and than it comes music goes "grrrrrrrr", pc freezes (mouse and everything), for second or two, and backs to normal.

Than, that was what i did, "I reinstalled OS, downloaded latest drivers, updated everything".

Now, problem happens again.
Something is telling me it is weak processor, coz, when I have that crackling of sound, it will happen on CPU usage variations.

I tested almost everything, but will do more investigate before I restore OS again.

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1.

If I am not wrong this is USB error.

And another one is: The 7ByteIo service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. - From what I have found this second error has something to do with HOT CPU Tester.

No other errors.

Thanks, maxwell1830. I appreciate your answers.

I did hdtunes pro trial test on hdd and usb without errors.
Also on both i did error-checking built in windows 7 from properties on hdd (c and d partition) and usb also, no errors.

I did memtest86 from usb, am not sure did this encountered error above, or it was on first time inserting usb storage on this OS.

Here are photos of error time in order:
1.Errors:

This was some kind of instalating process with same time trying to read usb storage device, so it showed error untill some instalation/sorting/updating etc. finished.
Tell me am I right or wrong in my guessing.
And sorry for so many images, but this is best way to explain things.

Possible, but it´s also possible that the USB controller is not compatible to your mainboard.
One question, do you have installed a symantec product?
Does this error appear, if you connect another USB drive?
Sometimes it could help, if you format your USB drive. No quick format!

No symnatec installed.
I used this USB drive before, didn't noticed any error. If I plug it now no errors.
Seems "Device installing error/conflict" for first time usage caused by some other application or driver.
But, anyway, it is just a USB drive.

Ok, back to the main problem.

You have to log all your processes and the process activity, so we can find the process which, causes the freezes.
Start the console and type perfmon. With this tool you can log all processes and their CPU Time.

If you get rid of my pc pain, i 'll be thankfull all my life. I am living for PC, but am not so good with configuration and fixing things, not a tech.

Well, follow these steps:
Command window -> perfmon
Data Collector Sets -> User Defined (rightclick -> New -> Data Collector Set)
Create manually -> Next -> Create data logs -> Finish
Rightclick on the created "New Data Collector" ->Properties -> Slide: "Stop Condition" and apply following settings:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
-> ok

Select "New Data Collector" again -> rightclick in the right empty window -> New -> "Data Collector" -> Next -> Add Performance counters -> Select and open "Process" and mark only "% Processor Time" -> in the box "Instances of selected object" select ALL single processes but NOT "_Total" and NOT <all Instances> and click "Add" -> ok -> Sample interval: 1 Second -> Finish
Rightclick at the "New Data Collector" in the left window -> start

You have to start this Data Collector everytime you start your windows.
When your system freezes again, stop the Data collector as you started it and upload the report.
Should be under %systemdrive%\PerfLogs\Admin\...

By the way, how often does the system freeze?

Thank you very much. Perfect instructions.

Freeze happens in week or so, but what bothers me is flash videos (youtube) and even more html videos, they reacting with pausing even on new tab opening. If I am opening website - loading it, and cpu is variating, doesn't mean it have to be 100%, even if from 20%-30% jumps to 80% it will pause (stutter) video. Making me itchy. It shouldn't do that. :pfff:

I set it to high performance and I installed firefox.
With firefox I have better performance in videos than in chrome.
Looks like it is poor processor power.
Chrome has some extensions which using more cpu, firefox is somehow better.
