So....... I just build a Computer and was seeking advice on the GPU I should Get
Computer specs

SO far I've spent 680 on all the parts except the GPU 200 is what I would like to spend but could be convinced to splurge a bit.
Just wondering which AMD card would be best given the rest of the build!

Secondly do you guys think there will be any black friday/cyber monday deals on these cards?

Imo get the 7970 ghz ed. As it comes with 3 bundled games. And 280x comes with 2 & considering that they're so neck & neck in performance it wont be a bad decision.

Well I know the 280x is basically a 7970 GHZ ed but does the new card with any new tech (IE better drivers/support?)

Actually, that's not true. The R9-280X has NO game bundle. AMD isn't including it. They want people to buy out the HD 7900 series before they start selling the R9-280X. That's why the HD 7970 is by far the better buy at this time.

My bad. But I heard Linus saying they're bundling 2 games with it. I must have overheard him. Thanks for pointing that out

I say 280x is great. But i think, not sure, but it might bottle neck the CPU. The 7950 is good, but if you can, 7970 is great.

For 200$ the 7950 will be your best bet.
It's same performance as a R9-270X but can be OC'd like a beast, you get 3gb VRAM , and 3 free games
