I am setting up a dual monitor setup for gaming (I know the monitor will split down the center and it sucks but its not my idea).
I have set up SoftTH and it runs as should with 2 monitors on 1 GPU when running certain games but the FPS do suffer a little than running a single monitor for gaming and the other for desktop stuff.
I am wanting to know if i add a second gpu non sli and run the second monitor off that will some of the load be taken off the primary gpu when dual screen gaming and using SoftTH. I have an old 7900 gtx i can use as a secondary gpu.
Specs of the PC i am working on are
Mobo: Asus (not sure of spec but it does have 4 PCI-e slots)
8GB of ram DDR3
GTX 550Ti
600w PSU
