Call of Duty:BLack ops 2 lagging EXTREMELY (steam)

Hi everyone, i am having trouble with call of duty: black ops 2 on steam. Since i bought the cd , the game is lagging EXTREMELY and i couldnt play the game. Any solution ?

My proccer is Intel core 2 , but does that mean i have to buy a new radeon ?

If the clock speed on your core 2 is below 2.66ghz it would also be a good idea to upgrade your CPU. If you want the game to be playable then yes you should get a better graphics card. You don't need to spend a lot of money though, anywhere from $60 to $100 would buy you a much better card. The radeon 7750 would be good because it's cheap, has low power requirements and it's about 4 times more powerful than what you have.

did u get to run the game dude? idk if i should get cod bo 1 or bo2 cuz i might not be able to run it. i have a 2.2ghz intel dual core and 4gig ram and microsoft hd graphics card. ive seen ppl on youtube play it but idk,,,
