Hello everyone. I have a custom built PC that I made about 3 years ago and so far have had no problems. Just this morning when I went to boot up my PC from sleep mode, the computer turned on fine but my monitor has been giving me DVI no signal errors. I tried rebooting my PC and replugging the dvi wires on both ends but that didn't help. I though maybe it's my gou but when I opened my PC and the gpu fans were working(not sure if that means my gpu is fine) I tried using a hdmi wire to see if maybe my Dvi wire is faulty but that didn't work either. I just tried my roku player connected through hdmi to the monitor and it worked fine! Does this mean I need a new graphics card? I have a sapphire Radeon graphics card any tips?

I also had this problem before.

Try removing your RAM, then clean the slots and clean the gold part of the ram with an eraser. You can also clean the gold part of your video card using an eraser.
Just make sure that there is no eraser dust left on your ram and video card before putting it back in.

Hope this helps.
