I'm going to have a power supply in a unit next to my computer. It will not have a mobo, as the unit is not a computer. I need this 2nd power supply to turn on and off with my system. So when I power on my PC, this other PSU will also begin to distribute power to it's loads. How should I go about this?

Personally, I wouldn't use a blade connector off that existing switch. I'd use an actual DPST switch meant to operate two different circuits.

But guess you could wire them both on the existing switch.

Additionally, if I had to do this..I'd wire in another switch that would allow individual selection:
1. System A only
2. System B only
3. Both
Sometimes I might not want to always power cycle both.

Disclaimer: If you let the smoke out...it's not my fault...:)

Well are the wires on the 2nd PSU that you told be to use toggle on/off or do they need constant current? If they're toggle, couldn't I add a small relay in parallel to my power button, and two toggle switches (one for PC on for Rad) and a DC power connector to my PC in series with the relay? Then I can connect the Radbox "switching" line to the DC power connector for quick disconnect (whole LC system is quick-connect based). Then the toggle switches (which will also add aesthetic values) can be opened or closed to power the systems on and off individually or together.

Assuming it is a normal PSU, it probably only needs a momentary On signal. Multiple different ways it could be wired.

Would this work?
