I have orderead a new mSATA SSD to use with a sw caching solution in mine X220.

Considering all the problems and instabilities I've read about this systems I want to be sure to have a recovery option just in case of data corruption.

I've done:

- created syetem recovery media on a usb key
- create a system restore point for the only os and drivers on the local HDD
- created a system backup for os and profile data on a NAS
- copied personal data on an external HDD

question is: in case my system will crash and go in BSOD what can I do? What can be the recovery procedure to return in my actual state using the previous elements?

Ok but suppose I got a serious problem
Since now I just put in place every recovery solution I read about.
But I never needed to use one of these, what need I to do if my laptop just die?
Need I to first use the recovery media (that will bring my system back to installation status) or use the restore point?
But if my system just doesn't boot can I use the restore point?
