Hi there guys im new to computer building and decided to build a gaming computer as my senior project. Ive been doing a lot of research on graphics cards and really cant decide on which to get, i know the new AMD drivers will come out eventually but is it really going to help the problems they hae with their drivers? i dont plan on running more than one monitor just something that will game at 1920x1080 smoothly would be great

so far my build is:
asus 787 pro mother board
intel i5-4670k
corsair hx 850 psu
8gb of corsair vengeance ram
samsung 840 evo 120gb ssd
WD 1tb caviar black hd
corssair h100i cpu water cooler

i have heard and read a lot of things on here about all of these cards and experiances with them, i would like a second opinion on what to get and if the 7970 is really worth the extra $50, if it is i might get that, thank you for reading and helping me out

Solution
Get amd's "new" 280x (it's a re-branded 7970 with higher clocks for the same price). Plus, it's a huge step up from a 760.
