Just finished up my first build, it all turns on fine and all fans are working, except i'm getting no display on my monitor. I'm using a DVI and whenever I plug it into my monitor it just switches back and forth from Analog to DVI until it finally goes into sleep mode because it doesn't recognize anything.
I know its not my motherboard because i've tried two different motherboards, I know its not my power supply because i've tried two different power supplies, I know its not my monitor because i've tried two different monitors that I know work for sure, I know its not the cable because i've tried every possible cable. And yes, I'm plugging it into the video card not my motherboard, and I can't test it without the video card in because my cpu does not have integrated graphics.
I've taken apart and re-built this thing more times than I can remember now, I'm 100% positive everything is where it should be. I just don't get why this would happen?
My guess is it could be my ram, graphics card, or cpu, I just have no clue how to find out which one? I also hear no beeps when I turn it on, but I don't think it has a speaker... I did plug in an "HD AUDIO" that connects from my case to the motherboard, but I think this is just for the headphone jack, correct? It plugs in beside the USB slots so I'm assuming so.
