radeon 6970 glitches

Hello guys,
My CPU is composed of a motherboard Asus P5KPL-AM SE, processor Intel core 2 quad Q9505, 4 GB RAM, 1 Tera hard drive and a graphic card Ati XFX radeon 6970 2GB..

I recently played Splinter Cell Conviction and Tomb raider. However sometimes in the games i find tiny glitches. The games run well, but the tiny glitches are very much embarrassing. The graphic card is a great card right? so where do these problems come from? Please help... do i need extra drivers or do i need to update all my drivers? Or it is something to do with the options?? please help.. Thanks...

the games do play well. but however, sometimes there are slight tearing in the images. and sometimes they are very embarassing

they play well, but sometimes there r tiny and light tearing in the images that occur not too often.
