How to under clock RAM speed in Bios.

My ram is this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313399

and my motherboard is, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157364

as you can see my ram is clocked at 2400 while my motherboard only supports ram up to 2100 I have read one can change RAM speed in the Bios.

    Yes can set manually, would suggest 1866 for a FX CPU - set freq to 1866 then the base timings to 9-10-10-32, CR (Command rate/timing) to 2N or 2T, and DRAM voltage to 1.55 to start
  2. Thanks man, do you have any idea where those settings would be? or does it vary?
  3. You set them up manually in the BIOS, DRAM is normally in the advanced or tweaking area/page
