How to under clock RAM speed in Bios.

My ram is this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and my motherboard is, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

as you can see my ram is clocked at 2400 while my motherboard only supports ram up to 2100 I have read one can change RAM speed in the Bios.

Yes can set manually, would suggest 1866 for a FX CPU - set freq to 1866 then the base timings to 9-10-10-32, CR (Command rate/timing) to 2N or 2T, and DRAM voltage to 1.55 to start

You set them up manually in the BIOS, DRAM is normally in the advanced or tweaking area/page
