So I have a 1TB Western Digital hard drive that I use as my primary drive, and I also have the 180 GB hard drive (Don't know who made it)from my old computer as a backup drive. I've never put a file on my back up hard drive and today I got a prompt telling me it is nearly full. I looked at it's space and it has 3.2MB out of 180GB. I'm not very savvy when it comes to hardware and was wondering what to do to get all my space back.

Any help?

The recordings software may use a separate directory for temporary data. It's very common, that the installer chooses a second HDD as the default location for that. It should be a parameter under Extras / Properties or whatever in your recording software.

Okay, I figured out the problem. Everytime I download, record, or save anything it not only goes to the 1Tb primary hard drive I use, but it also makes a copy to the secondary hard drive. Is there anyway to make that not happen?

Okay, I have no idea how to do that, but let me explain further. I record a lot of videos and when ever I save them, not only do they save on my primary hard drive, like they are supposed to, but they also save on my secondary hard drive. I only use the backup hard drive for old pictures and things of that nature. I want to make it where the videos only save to my primary hard drive and not my secondary. I can locate all the files on my secondary hard drive to delete them, but it is a hassle as it take awhile to go through everything.

So in short, my files save to both hard drives. I can locate and delete them if I want, but it is a hassle and it would be much better if they wouldn't save to my secondary hard drive at all.
