So i was looking for a good graphics card for my gaming rig which i will buy by the end of this month.(Link to my rig ). I wanted to ask you guys that which will be the best graphics card between GTX 780,amd RADEON 7990 and 7970 cf?(and if there's another graphics card under 700$ to 800$ which will help me to establish everything i have listed below then please tell me).I will be gaming on a single monitor at 1080p with everything maxed out. I'd suggest you to go for the 7990, its quite better than the gtx titan.
Can't say for 5 years, but at least for 3 years, its 730$ just not a big deal for running it for 3 years!!!!. 7990 makes a quite noise compared to gtx titan, in any other aspect it is better than titan :-)

I would wait until the R9-290X and just get that, and then Crossfire it in a couple years.

I agree with Drew, grab the 290x when it is for sale, they say around $650, same price as a 780 and will match the Titan in performance, what's not to like. It is also rumored the 780 and Titan will see a good price drop when 290 hits the shelves, they would have to do something.

Just saying the 290 is going to adjust card pricing in that price range, right now the 780 is over priced. I have read too many bad things on the 7990, most reviewers say 7970 in XF is a better way to go.

Even 280X in XF would be better than the 7990. You basically have to watercool the 7990 in order to make it a viable option.

yep, then wait for the r290 , its way better compared to these two. But the price is gonna be higher than these two I guess ( about 750$-850$).if the price doesn't matter for you, blindly just go for it :-) .

That is my take also about the 7990, perhaps that explains the recent drastic price drop to the 780 range. The 280 looks to be exactly like the 7970 with a bit of a core clock slow down of .05Ghz, the opposite of the 270 with a bump in core clock by .05Ghz and memory by 200Mhz compared to the 7870.

Ouch, bad news! Just read the release date of Oct 15 has been called off (290x), dam! As odd as this may sound it seems like the release will be timed with Battlefield 4 release.

Maybe has something to do with very soon release of the 770Ti or the fully enabled GK110 in a new Titan. I think this is getting sort of stupid of AMD to do this, everyone knows the specs, just not the cost or performance, Nvidia will not change that, it is what it is.
