gtx 760 vs 770

Solution
The GTX 770 is obviously better, but it also costs more. And if you want something faster than the 760, I'd rather go with a 7970 or R9 280X than the much more expensive GTX 770.

I agree with Sakkura. The GTX 770 is far better than the GTX 760, and for 1080p gaming it's the card that means the difference between a consistent 60 fps and a not-so-consistent 60-ish fps for a good number of games.

The hierarchy goes:
GTX 760 < Radeon HD 7970 < Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition < R9 280X < GTX 770

If price isn't an issue, then the GTX 770 is the way to go.

More like this:
GTX 760 < HD 7970 < R9 280X < HD 7970 GHz Ed =< GTX 770

The R9 280X has lower clocks than the 7970 GHz Edition, so actually slightly slower. Nothing that really matters since vendors will throw in factory overclocks and people can overclock as well.
