hello, hopefully someone can help out with this
i installed a new nvidia gtx 770 and windows 8 x64 on an ssd drive. it was working great until i did some windows updates. now the pc will not boot at all. if i plug the old graphics card in, it works fine, if i plug new card in, it stops working again.

i installed the previous hard drive (with win 7 on it) and it will not work with the graphics card either.

i have read that windows 8 will activate secure boot in the bios and this can cause issues with the 770 graphics cards. i have been through the bios multiple times and i do not see any option for secure boot or legacy mode/boot/etc

i will post the bios version and mobo version on here if needed.

does anyone know how to turn off secure boot when there is no option in the bios or do you think this could be something else causing the issue?

from what i read, im almost positive the secure boot is causing issues with the new card. im not sure how win 8 can change the bios though, especially when i do not even see an option for secure boot.

any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!! i have a $400 video card i cant even use right now.

It's windows 8 evolution that was installed.
