Hi, I moved my old CD-Drive to my new computer, my old computer used IDE port for the CD-Drive but my new motherboard doesn't have one so I bought a converter from IDE to Sata and it's not showing up in Bios for some odd reason? Help!

Hey,

Overall I would not recommend using adapters, DVD drives are relatively cheap these days (can be bought for under $20) so adapters are not worth the hassle. However make sure that everything is securely plugged in, and that the drive is receiving power (is it opening/closing).

Hope this helps!
