prolimatech genesis cpu cooler on asus gryphon?

any way for the toms hardware crew themselves to know/find out if the prolimatech genesis cpu cooler fits on the asus gryphon mb with its armor kit equipped?

due to the size of the cooler and its dimensions I may very well be asking a question not worth answering...but I'm extremely fond of it, its a phenomenal cooler...

With a newer mobo and with the armor, don't know, I've build a couple of Gryphons, but don't use that cooler, might drop them a email or send a PM here to raja@asus that's the screen name of an Asus rep here on the forums, may be in within in 6-7 hours, think he's in England

the issue I'm looking at is the part where the heatpipes leave the base of the cooler, I'm not sure how much headroom there will even be due to the mosfet/VRM heatsinks, more then so with the armor as it adds additional heigth and width to them.

I've yet to send an email to them...truth be told though I'm not sure if they'll even be useful in the matter or not.

I thought I might have better luck here with you guys then with them.

nope, asked raja, he knows nobody on his end with the cooler in question

I ended up grabbing a different one for now, since I flat out can't use a stock intel fan (god forbid..).

I'll try the cooler anyway, and will let you know whether or not it fits.

hmm, yeah theres about a quarter to half an inch of clearance needed. If I could figure out a way to bend the fin array along with the pipes back a little bit the cooler would actually fit!

I ended up using my friends genesis that I bought for him to test the fit.
