Hey guys and girls
My GPU is a Club3D 7970
Idle is 39-40C (normal)
when I play ANY game and put ultra settings (except for tomb raider 2013) even with Vsync my gpu goes over 95C (my win7 gadget warns me with a beep over 95C) even with fanspeed at 100%.....
room is airconditioned to around 15-20C constantly....
My Case (corsair 650D) Pulls air from the front with its 200mm fan and pulls hot air out the top with a 200mm fan,,,,, CPU is liquid cooled so no extra hot air blowing onto it...
Is this card just that badly made that it can't even use its full 3Gb power in my games that I have to settle for med or High graphic settings?
looking forward to some answers on this matter..
BTW I am not alone in this... i found quite a few with same problem with AMD cards with single tiny "anti dust" fan at the front of it....
Extra info - I am RMA'ing this GPU on monday and trading it in for the same card but with dual fans..
