Specs
CPU: Intel i5 4670k
GPU: Geforce Gigabyte GTX 670 2GB
PSU: Corsair 80 bronze 600 watts
RAM: G skill Ripjaw series 8GB
OS: Windows 8 64 bit

I've already asked one question about my graphics card but I am unfortunately getting nowhere.
This is my first build and i've had problem after problem but after finally getting the pc working my GPU won't work. The card has 3 fans which are all running but when I went to install the drivers from the disc, the nvidia installer says that it cannot continue as the graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware. So I used driver sweeper and then downloaded straight from the nvidia website only to get the same error. I've tried the gigabyte oc guru but that just tells me to choose to support this VGA card. Once I put my cables into my GPU it gets no signal so I have to resort to putting the VGA into the motherboard slots. I'm flabbergasted as to what is wrong and its coming to the point of pure frustration as I got all my parts about 3 weeks ago and its still not fully functioning. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This happened to me before, I found out my Gigabyte Windforce 670 wasn't properly inserted into the PCI-E slot. Undo the case screws then push the insecure 670 fully into the PCI-E port.
And do you have one eight-pin pci-e power connector and a 6 pin pci-e connector plug in from the PSU?

Sorry mate only getting this message now. I've reseated the card a few times so I would say that its in properly. The cables going into the GPU are an 8 then a 6 but there is an end slot which a two pin can go into. There is two sets of these two pins.
