Hey all,

Just built a new machine yesterday and I want to add some 140 mm case fans. The case is the fractal designs define XL R2. CPU is the OCZ ZT 750 watt full modular psu. I'm looking for 140 mm fans with blue LEDs.

Noise is not an issue as I live in Miami and thus the ac is on pretty much all the time when i'm at the computer. With that in mind, I need the fans to be 140 mm, produce alot of airflow, (don't care if they are loud I wont hear em) and have blue LEDs. Anything fit that description?

Cougar has some blue LED 140mm fans, and Corsair just put out some LED variants of their Air series. Phanteks also has a blue LED 140mm fan. All three of these are pretty good quality fans.

Enemax's T.B. Vegas Duo 140mm is another option, but, if I recall correctly, it has a lot of wires for the LED-mode switching and manual RPM control.

Lastly, there's the Xigmatek XAF-F1456, but, I haven't had the privilege of trying any Xigmatek fans yet, so don't know how they actually are for quality.

Is that a good brand? I know I said I didn't care at all about sound, but I still want a quality fan. Can anybody speak on this brand as far as fan quality goes?

Xigmatek Fan XAF-F1456 140mm are great! I have two of them and they are quiet, great circular design and have a high air flow rate of 90.3. They are also PWM adjustable from 600-1300 rpms....I also have 2 corsair Corsair Air Series AF140 LED Quiet Edition High Airflow Fan - Blue and though they are quiet the air flow doesn not match with the Xigmatek fans.
