I'm looking for a second monitor (which will serve as the primary monitor) for my pc. I'm not a in a hurry, but this looks like a pretty good deal. ASUS VN247H-P

My budget is anythign under $200, should i pull the trigger or wait until the holiday sales?

I think you gotta go for it. $159 is an incredible deal. Especially for a thin bezel with 2 HDMI ports.

Check out this video on it. It is great for gaming.

This particular model was released in January 2013. If you wait until Black Friday then you might as well wait until January 2014 for the new model.

I think the Free Shipping from Newegg makes this a must buy. Better hurry up. Only a couple more hours before the deal expires.

I believe if you wait a week or two even you can get the 20-30 dollar mail in rebate ... newegg seems to always have that monitor on sale. I got one and it's great! Got an early stuck pixel but besides that I love it

One other note... If you are you are trying to create a dual monitor setup you might want to consider this mount from Amazon for roughly $40.00. Based upon the reviews it appears to be rock solid and does not wobble.

Out of 884 reviews, 760 have 5 star ratings

I believe the monitor rotates too.

Yeah, i looked at the reviews it seems to be a solid unit.

The free shipping doesn't actually affect me though.. i live 20min from the Newegg warehouse in NJ.

Also, the bezel doesn't help me at all either, i'm not looking to ever do the eyefinity stuff. I just want a nice 1080p monitor to game on, and slide my older 720p monitor over so i can browse the web and stuff on a secondary screen.

Still i'm having a hard time finding a similar quality monitor at this price, so i'm probable pull the trigger.

didn't see the last two posts.

The monitors will be different sizes and everything, so i think i'll just have them side by side, no need for a special stand.

As far as the mail in rebate thing, you think i'll get the 159 + more off if i hold out?

I was originally planning to make this purchase on black Friday, but if this is legitimately as cheap as a nice 24'' (almost)1080p monitor gets.. i can swing it now =)
