So earlier today while I was playing SW:TOR my computer decided it wanted to shut itself off. When I tried to turn it on everything powered up and then it turned itself off again after a few seconds.
After Googling possible problems on my laptop, I went to try and trun it on again after taking the casing off and making sure everything was plugged in/connected and it powered all the way up, booted Windows and then after about 5 minutes it turned itself off again. Afterwards, the top of my tower was hot so I am thinking that it may be that my CPU is overheating.
I use a liquid cooling system and when I power the computer up the liquid cooling activates and I can hear it pumping the water through the tubes.
Any thoughts on what may be the cause of my computer shutting itself off?

Solution
Download and run Realtemp and see what kind of temperatures you are getting while gaming.

Another possibility is your PSU dying on you, but you're probably on the right track with suspecting it is temperatures.
Do you have a top-mounted PSU? That may be what is getting too hot. Is the PSU fan running? Do you have a balance of intake and exhaust fans in your case, so the PSU isn't struggling to cool itself?
Please provide your full system specs, including the brand and model (not just wattage) of your PSU.

Well it is definitely my liquid cooling system. When I just turned it on the download the Realtemp, my cooling system made a terrible noise and continued to make this noise and after a few minutes I shut it off because the top of my case was again getting hot. After pulling all the plugs I felt the inside and it was very hot especially where the tubes connected to the block.
Could one of the tubes be clogged?
And my PSU is mounted on the bottom but all of the heat is coming from the CPU/Liquid Cooling tubes.
