Hey guys I am doing my first build I am confused I'm tryin g to install a hard drive in the hot swap bay but there is this little green PCP that connects to it but blocks the power connection port is this a problem. Should I just install it in a hard drive bay? Anybody with the case know what I'm talking about

  1. The hot swap green pcb should have a power and data connection that plugs into a sata data cable and molex power cable.

I have read horror stories of people with the HAF XB using the hot swap in that case and frying hard drives. Don't know how that happened.

Personally I would just skip the hot swap feature, unscrew the green pcb and put it in the motherboard box and just run power and data cables.

I have the new model, with a standard SATA-Power Conector instead of the Molex one at the PBC!
You can demand this new PBC in internet or stores.
I change often the HDDs, for testing, reparation and Backups, and is the best solution.
Actually i have 2x2GB WD Green Caviar inside, and for the moment no problems in any of the 3 OSes i Use: OSX, Ubuntu, W8!
ITS the very best solution i know, like the whole BOX!
