I know about the difference between the i5 and i7, I will be doing Video Editing and 3D Modelling :)
Also Win8 users get a free upgrade to 8.1 right?

Then you know that intel 4930k is best choice for you?

Soundcard you do not really need with that mobo. It do have really ood sound on board. What you most likely need is more memory.

Water cooler is other thong you really do not need.
Id buy this monitor.

For video editing you really need better color not 144HZ monitor.
IPS panel do have better picture quality.

What is the difference in performance in gaming though? I will only do video editing and modelling occasionally (I feel i should mention that)

Both do games really well. For gaming 4670k is enough.
Video editing do not need video card so much. It need more cpu + memory.

You did not have any SSD on this build?

I would agree with the cooler. Unless you are going to do a real water cooling setup I would go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO instead. For one Thermaltake's water coolers have never been that great anyway. I tried a AIO water cooler setup once and would never go back to them again.

I got two Corsair H100i's in January one for my FX-8350 and another for my i5 3570K setup and they made it about 4 months before the LED's and pumps bit the dust. Never again. For not much more I got a full water cooling kit from frozencpu.com and have been very happy with it. I got a XSPC Raystorm 750 EX360 Extreme Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit for $160 that comes with everything needed minus the coolant and all in all it did not take much longer to install than the Corsair H100i did plus the performance is much much better.
