FX-6300 vs A10 6800K with a HD 7770?

Ok, so I was previously going to buy a FX-6300 and a HD 7770 but on the dayZ forums ( the game I will probably play the most) that the A10 6800K with a HD 7770 would perform better with people suspecting in will get 30 FPS on high settings, while the FX-6300 and HD 7770 would only get 30 FPS On medium settings.
What are your thoughts about this?

FX6300 + HD7770 the best option, although the A10-6800K has a slight advantage in single-threaded applications, so if this may be why the A10 is getting better frames, but I still would go for the FX6300.

DayZ uses 2 cores and I plan on OCing the FX-6300 to 4.0-4.3 GHZ would the A10 still be better?
